JHS will be running an adjusted schedule on Thursday to allow students and staff to cheer on the Girls Basketball team at State. School will dismiss at 12:45. The Cavalier's will face the Mitchell Kernels at 1:45 at the Sanford Pentagon.

State Bound! The Jefferson Boys Basketball team will be heading to Rapid City to take on the Harrisburg Tigers in round 1 of the State Tournament on March 16th at the Summit Arena at The Monument.

Week of Work continued Tuesday, and JHS students were invited to meet with area businesses to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities in our community.
The Week of Work introduces students to career opportunities in their communities. Today Alicyn Even from the Department of Labor spoke to 9-10th grade JHS students, and offered job interview and job skill tips.
Last week, several JHS students competed at the regional Art Wars competition! Congrats to Kailah Miller (Clay - 1st place) and Claire Buskohl (Painting - honorable mention). Kailah will advance to the state competition in Rapid City. Congratulations JHS Artists!

It was all fun and games for Best Buddies today! The club met with their buddies during the lunch hour to play Jenga, Uno, and other fun games.
Tonight only! JHS, RHS, and LHS will be performing their one-act plays before competition later this week. Admission to the event will be a non-perishable food item or a cash donation to Feeding South Dakota. Doors open at 6:00pm, first performance starts at 6:30pm.
