A HUGE congratulations goes out to George Hawkins tonight as he was just announced the official South Dakota Teacher of the Year for 2024! Mr. Hawkins is on a roll this year, having been named the Sioux Falls School District Teacher of the Year this past spring. Anyone who has gone through a class with George can tell you all this praise is well deserved. There is still time to donate! NEW toys can be dropped off at Scheels or JHS this week until Thursday! The school with the MOST toys will win $5,000! The winner will be announced at the President's Bowl on Saturday! Toys will be given to local youth nonprofits.
