Friday, January 23, 2026, will be a Remote Learning Day in the Sioux Falls School District!

iPads and Chromebooks were sent home with each student earlier today. We will not have in-person learning in the schools, but students are expected to connect to their Canvas account from home for assignments and learning resources. They have practiced this at school and know what is expected of them.

Additional information for Students and Families can be found here: https://app.smore.com/n/wgz62

Last week was Generosity Week, and students got into the holiday spirit with themed dress-up days, from ugly sweaters to festive red and green. Students and staff joined a penny war for the Cavalier Closet and purchased gifts for Lifescape.

Last week in Single Survival, seniors heard from both local entrepreneurs and college representatives as they continued exploring life after high school. Travis and Kristen Rhoades shared how an unexpected opportunity led them from teaching and tech to becoming franchise owners of 16 Scooters Coffee locations across the Sioux Falls area, offering insights into the challenges and rewards of running a business. Later in the week, Augustana University admissions counselors and students visited to talk about academic programs, scholarships, and campus life, giving seniors a glimpse into what college at Augie has to offer.
