The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in ULE (gifted ed) got to make some sweet marble mazes! They demonstrated their creations to each of the ACE classrooms. They turned out awesome! Thank you Mrs. Robinson for giving these kids so many opportunities to grow and learn!

We had a kickball challenge in Family! It was Rausis vs Leloux, Joffer vs Nelson, and Gray vs Pike! It's always a fun way to end the year!

The second graders had a wonderful field trip at Prairie Village in Madison on Friday. They enjoyed seeing all of the sites. Fun times!

The 4th and 5th graders had their last Kids Care of the year last Friday. They picked up trash in the neighborhood, painted rocks to bring others joy, and wrote thank you cards to the veterans. Thank you to our Kids Care coordinator, Shelley Gaddis, for organizing each month's activities.

The staff at Jane Addams are so appreciative of all of the special treatment they received and food/caffeine from the ACE PTO during Teacher Appreciation Week! It was a blessing to receive!! THANK YOU!

ACE and EIC 3rd graders had their last buddy time together by doing puzzles, memory, and Quick Cups! They enjoyed getting to know each other better throughout the year!

Graduation. New Chapters. Good-byes. With appreciation, we thank our families with 5th graders who are leaving ACE. Thank you for your dedication in supporting all of our students! You will be missed!

On May 16th, the 5th graders had their graduation ceremony at the All City gym. It was special to reflect on their journey here at ACE and we are excited to see how their next chapter unfolds! We will miss their smiling faces and leadership! Keep shining! Be YOU!

We had our last treats from Life Church at our staff meeting! They are the best! We appreciate them so much! Thank you for spoiling us!

Way to go Jane Addams High Flyers! We are proud of you!

It was a beautiful day so first graders read outside in the Outdoor Classroom!

Third grades had their last Dow Rummel visit of the year! They decorated doors and then played checkers, puzzles, and memory! The residents made a poster for the kids thanking them for coming! We are so thankful we get this opportunity every month!

First graders enjoyed their last field trip to the Washington Pavilion together! What a fun year of memories!

Fifth graders loved cracking open their geodes and exploring what was inside! Neat!

JT Rock came to read to the All City students on May 14th. JT is a former ACE student and is currently attending Iowa State University majoring in kinesiology during his freshman year. He is also a member of the Cyclone's men’s basketball team and an excellent role model to these students! The kids love asking him questions about his life and always ask about his height! We love when former students come back to visit! Come back again soon, JT! Thanks for visiting and best of luck in your upcoming BB season!

We had our annual Tug-of-War Challenge during Family. It is kindergarten vs 1st, 2nd vs 3rd, and 4th vs 5th. It gets very competitive, but always so fun to see the kids chanting and cheering on each grade!

We only have one School Store day left next week! We appreciate all of the support all year! This time they even had a super tall special guest working checkout! Thanks JT for filling in!
